As one basketball season ends at Delhi Charter School, another enters the post-season. The DCS Lady Gators saw their season come to an end following a 71-28 loss at No. 2 Arcadia High School last week.

The boys basketball team at DCS will begin the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 1A playoffs this week as the No. 30-seed and will travel south to play No. 3 Central Catholic on Friday.

The Lady Gators are optimistic about the future of their program despite an early exit from the playoffs. This season marked the first year in the program's six year history that a Lady Gator team has qualified for the playoffs.

"We were excited about getting into the playoffs," Lady Gator head coach Rod Moy said. "We wanted to take that next step and make the playoffs for the first time over here and we feel good about the future for us."
