2011 Ag Expo
 Record numbers attended this year's Ag Expo and Trade Fair held at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe. Total attendance throughout the two-day event held Jan. 14-15, exceeded 13,000.
More than 1,000 contestants participated in the Junior Livestock Show including many 4-Her's from Franklin and surrounding parishes.
The livestock show exhibited 300 rabbits, 250 cattle, 75 goats, 30 lambs and 50 pigs.
Prior to the trade show opening, 2,000 school children attended Ag Alley educational center presented by the LSU Ag Center.
The Miniature Cow Show was a big hit among spectators of all ages. The show featured several miniature breeds no taller than 36 inches.
