Conference set for teen girls
"His Revolutionary Love," a conference for teen girls, will be held Feb. 11-12 at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro.
Guest speaker for the event is Lynn Cowell of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
"Today's teenage girls are under so much pressure," Cowell said. "What do I say 'yes' to? When do I say 'no?' During this conference, we're going to help teens discover God's best for them – and have lots of fun doing it."
The conference is for all girls in grades six through 12 and the cost is $5 each. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 with the event getting underway at 7.
