Local rider to lead stockshow parade
Samantha Tate of Delhi, 19, is the daughter of Gerry and Hyon Tate and the granddaughter of Oscar and Nancy Tate of Delhi.
For the seventh year in a row, Samantha will be leading the Northeast Louisiana Livestock Show Parade on Feb. 4, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Delhi. She will be proudly carrying Old Glory mounted on horseback.
Samantha has been studying classical stock seat riding for eight years with Ki Allen's Riding School of Delhi and with Ron McLoughlin's Classical Stock Seat School of Arizona.
