Gators to see action Friday
The Delhi Charter School Gators and Lady Gators will be back in action this Friday when they host Central-Jonesville at Gator Gym.
On the boys side, DCS (3-3) has lost two in a row following a 68-47 loss to Epps and a 79-74 setback against Tensas High School last week in a tournament played at Delhi High School.
The Gators could find little answer for the swarming defense of Epps on Thursday and then on Saturday missed a few critical shots down the stretch in a narrow loss to Tensas.
"Against Epps, we just didn't show up," DCS head coach Chad Clarke said. They came out with more intensity than we did. We came out complacent. and it showed.
Point guard Buford Dean continues to be a solid leader for the Gators.
