Wisner family survives house blaze
A Wisner family is left searching homeless after the house they were renting was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning.
Greg Ladd said he was at home with his wife and two children when the awoke to find their home, at 9738 La. Highway 15, was burning. Fortunately, the family was able to make it outside safely and no firefighters were harmed putting out the fire.
"The cause of the fire is, as of now, undetermined, but it seems to have been ignited by someone burning debris near the home," said Tom Moore of the Wisner Fire Department.
