Symons-Allen wedding
 Melanie Symons and John Allen III were united in holy matrimony on October 9, 2010, at six o'clock in the evening at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. John Allen Jr., father of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and Kerry Symons of Perryton, Texas, formerly of Winnsboro.
The groom is the son of Tanya and John Allen Jr. of Flower Mound.
Decorative black urns on pedestals flanking each side of the altar held lush floral arrangements of green hydrangea cuffs and large white calla lilies. Two towering candelabras provided a subtle glow in the altar area.
