This is an annual effort and this year is being done in preparation for the thousands of visitors expected for "Found on 15," the 25-mile long yard sale sponsored by Winnsboro Main Street.
The first Friday and Saturday of November, the 5th and 6th, once again promises to be a busy weekend along the 25 miles that run through Franklin Parish along Highway 15. Yard sales from the Franklin Parish line just north of Baskin to just south of Wisner will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the "Found on 15" portion of the statewide project, "Main to Main."

Governor's Office of Cultural Development, and is designed to bring dollars and tourism back to the state, particularly the byways joining the Louisiana Main Street communities. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Franklin Sun's NEW E-Edition! |
