Princess to present Gov. Jimmie Davis Tribute
Princess Theatre will present the seventh event of the 2010 Concert Season on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. when Brian Sivils performs a "Tribute to Jimmie Davis."
Executive Director Gene Thompson said the event couldn't have better timing.
"This year is the 80th anniversary of the most recognized song in the world, You Are My Sunshine, and we are so very excited in bringing this production to the area." Thompson went to say that Brian Sivils has been researching the life and legacy of the late governor for sometime and he is the perfect artist to bring the show to the Princess stage.
"Brian has been performing in the south for sometime and we are fortunate to have him come," said Thompson.
