Baskin woman arrested in stabbing A Baskin woman is expected to recover from injuries she received while visiting another Baskin resident Monday evening, according to officials.
Deputies from the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested 28-year-old Lea Ann McMurray of Baskin on charges of aggravated battery, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, criminal damage to property and trespassing.
According to reports, McMurray and three others – Stacey W. Humphries, Rebecca D. Williamson and Courtney B. Ezell, — arrived at a residence located on Hazel Lane in Baskin around 8 p.m. Eyewitnesses at the scene said an altercation between McMurray and the (victim) erupted when McMurray allegedly stabbed her with a knife.
