Clifton Chambley
Mr. Clifton Chambley, 65, a retired water system superintendent for the Town of Wisner, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
Mr. Chambley was a decorated veteran who served as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. After graduating from Northeast Louisiana State College in 1967 with a degree in biology education, Chambley was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Following specialized training in counter insurgency, Chambley was deployed to Vietnam in February, 1969, where he served for one year.
