Cougars over Park Place, 34-12
Franklin Academy Academy improved to 2-4 on the season with a 34-12 win over Park Place Friday.
"This was one we needed," said Franklin coach Doyle Hassell. "We started out slow, but once we got it going we were able to do what we wanted to do."
Franklin's first score was a 22-yard pass from Christopher Hassell to Taylor Gilley. Rilyn Taylor ran in the 2-point conversion.
Hassell passed 51 yards to Cedric Allen for the next Cougar score.
Gilley added to the lead with a 57-yard interception return.
