Community to salute parish farmers
The Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual salute to our parish farmers on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the First Baptist Church educational building in Winnsboro.
The event will start at 6 p.m., and will feature Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture Mike Strain as the guest speaker.
Area farmers and their spouses are admitted free and a limited number of tickets are available to non-farmers for $10 each. Those interested in attending should contact the Chamber office as soon as possible to make reservations.
