FPHS undefeated, facing Bastrop Rams in homecoming game

The Franklin Parish Patriots (5-0) will put their undefeated record on the line Friday when they host the Bastrop Rams (5-0) at Patriot Stadium.

The Patriots went on the road to Carroll High School in Monroe last week and gave the Carroll team their first loss of the season in a 20-14 slugfest.

The Patriots dominated the line of scrimmage all night on both offense and defense in rolling up nearly 200 yards rushing in the contest including a pair of fourth quarter, fourth-down conversions that helped ice the game for the Patriots. FPHS had 324 yards of total offense in the game.

Ken Hoard and Marquise Hillman each rushed for 56 yards while running back Noble Johnson ran for 34 yards and a touchdown.
