Crain-Wheeler families to reunite
Members of the Dennis Crain/Crane - Nancy Wheeler family are announcing plans for a family reunion to be held in conjunction with the Washington Parish Fair in October 2010.
Since the fair touches so many lives and has something for everyone, it is felt that this would be the ideal time and place for this family together for a reunion. For further information you may contact Bufford Crain as the address given below.
Dennis (1783-c1864) and Nancy (1785-c1863) were from South Carolina and moved to Kentucky soon after their marriage. After about 10 years in Kentucky they migrated to the Washington Parish area in 1810 along with their five children. They lived in the Lawrence Creek area for one year and then settled in the State Line community just east of the Crain State Line Cemetery.
