Delhi Gators to host Tensas
The Delhi Charter School Gators (2-2) will be back in action this week when they host Tensas Parish High School (1-3) Friday night at The Swamp.
The Gators have rebounded incredibly over the last two weeks to even their record after a dreadful 0-2 start. They continued to progress last week with a 39-13 victory at Caldwell Parish.
The win was especially important in the power point rankings that will determine playofff seeding in November. The win over Class 3A Caldwell will certainly be an advantage to the Gators down the road.
"I think we struggled early on to find the right mix out there," Delhi Charter School head coach Brett Raley said. "Now we have settled in and are doing a good job."
