Lewis-Dupuy wedding
Krystle Aline Lewis and Banyon Cade Dupuy were united in marriage on July 13, 2010, at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado.
The bride is the daughter of Theresa and Breard Milner of Monroe and Billy Lewis of Wisner. She is the granddaughter of Billy and Bobbye Cureington, Aline Lewis Lupo and the late Roy Lewis of Wisner and the late Pete Lupo of Winnsboro.
The groom is the son of Sherran and Lloyd Marks of Lafayette and Joseph A. Dupuy, Jr. of Rosedale. He is the grandson of Alma Bouy of Lafayette and Melvin Bouy of Maringouin and the late Joseph A. Dupuy, Sr. of Grosse Tette and the late Gloria Acheé Dupuy Landry and Allen Landry of Port Allen.
Krysti, who was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her grandfather, carried a colorful Colorado wildflower bouquet and was carried to the ceremony site on a carriage pulled by a Clydesdale.
Jill Schindler Lewis, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Melissa Roberson, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor and Emily Roberson, cousin of the bride, served as a bridesmaid. The bridesmaids wore a strapless Alfred Angelo satin dress of champagne with chocolate accents. The bride's 11-month-old niece, Lyla Lewis, walked barefoot down the aisle, with a little assistance from her mother, serving as the flower girl.
Shane Dupuy, brother of groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Cole Dupuy, brother of the groom, and Jason Williams, stepbrother of groom. Jake McCoy, a family friend, served as usher.
The reception was held inside the beautiful Della Terra where the guest enjoyed an assortment of cupcakes making up the wedding cake and the grooms cake of brownies stacked around the custom made topper of the bride pulling the groom out of mud on their ATVs.
After a four-day backcountry adventure in the Gore Mountain Range and site-seeing the state of Colorado, the couple will make their home in Lafayette.
A reception for the couple will be held Saturday, September 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wisner Town Hall. |
