Betsy Ann Price and Adam Glenn Barfield exchanged vows on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at five o' clock in the evening at The Reef Resort located on the Grand Cayman Islands. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend McGoo, an island native, and the music was provided by Austin Jans.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. George Price, Jr. of Winnsboro. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Ron Barfield of West Monroe. Maternal grandparents of the bride are Ms. Lucille Munyan of Monroe and the late Keith Munyan of Mangham. Paternal grandparents of the bride are Ms. Elaine Price of Winnsboro and the late George A. Price Sr. Grandparents of the groom are the late Mrs. Mary Lois Taylor, late Mr. Bert Brooks, and the late Herbie Barfield.

Escorted down the pier by her father, the bride chose an elegant one piece lace cap sleeve trumpet gown with keyhole back and accented with a heavily beaded sash. A lace embellished chapel length train finished the gown. A headband with a birdcage veil with a hand made lace flower, beading, and feathers was chosen by the bride to compliment her bridal gown. Custom made pearl and turquoise stone earrings and bracelet accessories by Fire and Ice were worn by the bride. Tropical flowers of the islands made up her bridal bouquet with the stems wrapped in a white satin ribbon.

Bailey Toney of Monroe attended as maid of honor. A turquoise blue, spaghetti strap, linen sundress was worn by the bridesmaid. She carried a small bouquet of island tropical flowers with the stems wrapped in white satin ribbon.

Austin Jans of Monroe served as best man. George Allen Price, III, brother of the bride, served as usher. Both men wore white linen pants with turquoise blue linen shirts while the groom wore white linen pants and shirt.

A reception was held on the beach immediately following the ceremony. Wedding cake, hors d'oeuves, and champagne were served to the wedding party and guests that had spent the week enjoying island activities. Family members and friends that attended the wedding were: George and Debbie Price, parents of bride; Ron and Judy Barfield, parents of groom; George A. Price, Ill, brother of the bride of Lafayette; Keith O. Munyan Jr., uncle of bride, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mike and Toby Butler, uncle and aunt of the bride, from Mandeville; Lucille Munyan, maternal grandmother of bride, from Monroe; Dean and Mary Keefer, friends of the bride, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mary Jans, wife of the best man, of Monroe.

Following their honeymoon to Georgetown, Grand Cayman Islands, the couple returned to their home in Monroe.
