Hunter safety classes slated Two free hunters safety courses are scheduled by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
The first will take place in Tensas Parish from Aug. 12 to 14 at the Tensas Community Center on La. Highway 65. in St. Joseph. The classes will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 12, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Aug. 14. No registration is required for the Tensas classes, but you must attend all dates to be certified.
The Franklin Parish course will take place at Wisner Town Hall from Aug. 16 to Aug. 18.
Classes will be Aug. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 and from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 18. To register for the Franklin Parish course, call Karen Edwards at (318) 719-4571. |
