Joey Bradford Anding
Funeral services for Joey Bradford Anding, 20, of Winnsboro will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) July 28, 2010, at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Anding, an employee with Pizza Hut, died Sunday, July 25, 2010.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sharon Douglas Bass
Funeral services for Sharon Douglas Bass, 60, of Ball, La., will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, La.
Mrs. Bass died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence. She was a dedicated educator for 16 years in Franklin and Rapides Parishes. Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her father, Frank H. Douglas; and brother, Steve Norman Douglas.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Bass of Ball; son, Weston Bass and wife Gail of Alexandria; mother, Irma Douglas, brother, Danny Douglas and wife Cindy, sister, Linda Wiley and husband Malcolm, all of Merryville; two grandchildren: Caleb Bass and Zachary Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.

William Allen Butler Jr.
Services for Mr. William Allen Butler, Jr., age 87, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Dr. Max Lee officiating. Interment followed in New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Butler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, a United States Navy veteran, and owner of Butler Oil Co. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and one of the founders of Winnsboro Hunting Club in Tensas Parish in 1936. He also loved traveling with the love of his life Marilyn, of which he was married to for 65 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: William A. Butler, Sr. and Ellie McDuff Butler; his wife Marilyn Hammett Butler; brother, Archie "Mark" Butler; grandson, Michael Anthony Butler; and a great-granddaughter, Zoe Matthew.
Survivors include daughters: Sandra Jacka of Hammond and New Orleans, and Dee Butler of Baton Rouge; son: Allen Butler and wife Judy of Winnsboro; grandchildren: Byron Robertson, Dain Robertson, Tony Robertson, William Allen Butler, IV and wife Debbie, Charlynn White and husband Joel, and Kimberly Kramer and husband Blake Kramer; great-grandchildren: Heather Brown, Chloe Robertson, Emilie Robertson, Caroline Robertson, Garrett Kramer, Matthew Kramer, Paul Kramer, Taylor Baron, and Tommy Baron; great-great-grandson: Landon Guidroz.
Pallbearers were Glenn Butler, Johnny Lofton, Bobby Emfinger, Dr. Mike Tucker, Richard Dickey, and Greg Hill.
Honorary Pallbearers were Ed Lee, Owen White, Honorable Chet Traylor, Ross Cagle, Kelly Martin, William Hatton, and Dr. Jay Busby.

Carl R. Crain
Funeral services for Carl R. Crain, 47, of Winnsboro were held Friday July 23, 2010 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Rev. Jimmy Harper officiating. Burial followed in Harris Cemetery near Crowville.
Mr. Crain was born March 19, 1963 in Winnsboro and passed from this life Monday, July 19, 2010 in Newellton.
He was a graduate of Ward III High School and was "#1 Bartender" at Johnny's Lounge in Winnsboro and Highway 4 Bar in Tensas Parish. He was a dependable, trustworthy and a loyal friend to so many people.
He was preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Allie V. Crain; and a brother Donnie Crain.
Survivors are his brothers: Velton Crain of Columbia, and Mitch Crain and wife Gail of Winnsboro; daughter Wendy Taylor of Baskin; nieces Apryl Chapman and Camie Crain; two nephews: Thomas Crain and Robbie Crain; also survived by special friends Robert Neal and Eunice Welch and a host of other friends.
Pallbearers were Gerald Albritton, Johnny Collins, Roger Dale Emfinger, Steve Houston, A-Boy Sturdivant, and Chad Tuberville.

Louis James Hamilton
Funeral services for Louis James Hamilton, 67, of Newellton, were held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newellton with the Rev. Renee Brown officiating. Burial followed at Carton Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mr. Hamilton died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his home. He was a soil conservation technician and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include sons: Michael Jenkins and Terry Bryant; daughters: Christe Poe and Alana Douzart; sisters: Julia Pearre, Georgette Brown, Mary Ann Crisp, Reanel Gant, Ophelia Calvin; brothers: J.C. Brown, Greg Williams, Thomas Hamilton, Sykes Hamilton, Barry Hamilton, Albert Calvin, Michael Jones, Robert Williams; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rev. Eddie Douzart III, Octavis Poe, J.C. Brown, Michael Jenkins, Terry Bryant, Robert Gaines and Alex Watson.

Gracie M. Neal
Funeral services for Gracie M. Neal, 70, of Delhi were held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Vaughn St. Church of Christ in Delhi. Burial followed at St. John Baptist Church in Delhi, under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Ms. Neal died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Deerfield Nursing Home in Delhi.
Survivors include brother, Virgil Neal, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters: Beatrice Jones, Delhi; Elvie Parker, Monroe; and Viola Cyriak, Houston, Texas; and a host of other relatives.

Wilma Jean Huckabee Temple
Funeral services for Wilma Jean Huckabee Temple, 63, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, were held Tuesday at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Monholland officiating. Burial followed in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Temple was born Aug. 5, 1946 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Temple.

Bobby Ray Walker
Funeral services for Bobby Ray Walker, 53, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Newellton were held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Newellton Chapel Baptist Church in Newellton. Burial followed at Wyoming Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mr. Walker died Thursday, July 16, 2010, in Tulsa.
Survivors include his wife, Dorcelle Walker; sons: Bobby R. Walker Jr. and Samuel Walker; mother, Shirley Walker; brothers: Eddie Handy, Jimmy Walker, Herman Gaines, Clifford Walker; sisters: Patricia Walker and Jacqueline Woodard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Terrell Chase, Arryson Gaines, Brandon Gaines, Terrance Gaines, Aaron Rimmey, Brian Walker, Cedric Walker and Jimmy Walker III.

Carrie I. White
Funeral services for Carrie I. White, 43, Rayville were held Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Agape Full Gospel Church in Rayville. Burial followed at St. Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery in Mangham, under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mrs. White died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her home.
Survivors include her sons: Jonathan White and Justin White; father, Carroll White Sr.; brothers: Carroll White Jr., James White and Markus Turner; sisters: Bonnie Gray and Arnita B. Watkins; one grandchild; and special friend, Allen C. Larkins.
Pallbearers were Courtney Carpue, Charles Larkins, Perry Beal, Tim Marrion, Larry Hall and Lee Ward.
