Temple Baptist Church will be having a Mega Sports Camp July 19-25 from 8:30-12:00 each morning. This is in lieu of VBS. Here is additional information about the camp and how it is run:

Mega Sports camp is a program for children Kindergarten - 6th grade, which offers kids the chance to learn more about sports, discover character-building concepts, and have fun. At MEGA Sports Camp, kids can participate in several different sports or non-sports classes. It will help kids learn and improve in their sports skills. Drills and practice games will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. Plus, Mega Sports Camp creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and self-esteem.

Between sports sessions, coaches lead in songs, tell stories, and do cool object lessons that help character-building themes take hold in kid's hearts. And most importantly, kids will discover God's great love for them. Kids will be rewarded daily for memorizing Bible verses and demonstrating good character traits.

In addition to providing the camp for older children, Temple will also offer it to 3 and 4 year olds; it will be sports focused, but more like a regular VBS.

Sports to be offered are: Baseball & Softball, Football, Cheerleading, Soccer, Basketball.
Temple will offer non-sports sessions which will include Art, Drama, Card-making, Cooking (Each day will rotate with one of these activities).

In order to prepare, you are asked to register your child in advance. Registration forms are available at the Church office.
