Raymond-Sims engagement
 Lynn and Richard Raymond of Monroe are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Lynn Raymond, to Michael Blaise Sims, son of Carmen and Dennis "Buckshot" Sims of Winnsboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Christine Thomas and the late Lawton Thomas of Monroe and Clara and Edgar Raymond of New Orleans.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Rita and Harvey Hebert and the late Lubert Reed of Iota and the late Mattie Grace and Vernon Sims of Winnsboro.
Kathryn is a graduate of Neville High School and Grambling State University where she earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is currently attending Northwestern State University pursuing a master's degree in preparation for a career as a nurse practitioner. She is employed as an ER nurse by St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Blaise is a graduate of Franklin Academy and the University of Louisiana – Monroe where he earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He is currently employed in the medical intensive care unit at St. Francis Medical Center.
The couple will marry at half past six o'clock in the evening on June 12, 2010 at Jesus Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe. |
