Jones-Smith engagement
 Mr. and Mrs. Victor and Kathleen Jones of Lake Charles and James "Buzz" and Karen Townsend of Eros are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashley "Victoria" Jones, to Stephen Paul Smith, son of Bluford "D.D." and Dora C. Smith of Wisner.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Sue and Jimmy Hart of West Monroe. She is the paternal granddaughter of Ivah and Alvin Jones of Downsville.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Katie and the late Dennis Cecil Crain of Winnsboro. He is the paternal grandson of the late Eula and the late Albert Carlton Smith of Wisner.
Victoria is a graduate of West Monroe High School and is currently attending the University of Louisiana - Monroe, where she is pursuing a degree in elementary education. Stephen is a graduate of Sicily Island High School and the University of Louisiana - Monroe. He is currently employed as an environmental inspector with Perennial Environmental Services of Houston, Texas.
The wedding is set for six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at Frenchman's Bend Country Club in Monroe.
Following a honeymoon in Pensacola, Fla., the couple will reside in Monroe.
Friends and family of the couple are invited to attend the ceremony. |
