Kitchingham-Stevens wedding
Jacqueline Elayne Stevens and Brock Wesley Kitchingham exchanged marriage vows in a private 6:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston, Louisiana. The ceremony officiants were Reverend Brian Mercer and Reverend Bill Moon. Music was provided by Reverend Micky Cloud and Larkin Florence Haddox.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Barry Clemens Stevens of Winnsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Charles David Kitchingham and Ms. Brenda Roan Kitchingham both of Monroe. Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Landis Lafayette Magee and Mrs. Maxine Fowler Stevens of The Woodlands, Texas and the late Mr. James Traxel Stevens.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Robert Roan, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hubert Kitchingham.
The bride was escorted by her father. She chose an elegant gown of silk taffeta by Exclusive. The strapless sheath design with pleated rouching flared into a softly flowing skirt which extended to a chapel length train with taffeta buttons trailing the length of the train. A single tier of silk illusion was attached to a dainty feather and crystal veil adornment creating the bridal headpiece. The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white gerbera daisies and akito roses.
Jodie Le Etheridge of West Monroe served as maid of honor. Jessica Stevens Hamby and Jennifer Stevens Juneau, both of Ruston, served as matrons of honor. Randa Foy Kitchingham of Monroe, Mallory Paige Osbon and Emily Steed Pullin of Ruston and Jeanna Carol Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, served as bridesmaids. They wore JCrew fatigue colored silk taffeta dresses in the style of their choice. Their bouquets were made of white hydrangeas, pink gerbera daisies and akito roses.
Program attendants were Laura Farley Bryan and Julie Haddox Davis of Monroe.
Ashley Trevor Kitchingham of Monroe served as best man. Winston Ryan Kitchingham of New York, New York, Casey Lemoine Osbon, Mark Danger Miller, Brandon Paul Smith, all of Shreveport, Christopher Carl Walker of Monroe and Johnny Ray Juneau, Jr. of Ruston served as groomsmen. Judd David Chapman of Shreveport, Daniel Christopher Hammett of Monroe and Benjamin Frederick Hammett of Saint Augustine, Florida served as ushers.
The reception was held at The Norton Building in downtown Ruston. Aramark Catering served at the reception. "Robin and the Bluebirds" of Shreveport provided music for the evening.
Following their honeymoon to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple will make their home in Monroe.
The bride is a graduate of St. Frederick Catholic High School and Louisiana Tech University. She is employed with Louisiana Tech University.
The groom is a graduate of Ouachita Christian School and Louisiana Tech University. He is employed with Ergon Exploration. |
