Posey-Brown engagement
 Beth and Mark Posey are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Lee Posey, to Nicholas Lee Brown. He is the son of Joni and Steve Brown and Barbara and Rodney Butler.
The wedding will take place at six o'clock in the evening on Friday, June 4, 2010 on the beautiful shore of Orange Beach, Alabama.
Amanda is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hill of Rayville; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Posey of Winnsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Young of Bossier City.
Nicholas is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brazelton of Council Bluff, Iowa.
Maid of honor will be Sarah Posey, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids will be Liz Brown, sister of the groom; Jan Marie Hales, cousin of the bride; and Allison Pierce, friend of the bride.
Jordan Brown, brother of the groom, will serve as best man. Groomsmen will include Steve Brown, father of the groom; Rodney Butler, stepfather of the groom; and Myrt Hales III, cousin of the bride.
Amanda is a graduate of Louisiana State University – Shreveport, where she received her bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned her master's degree in social work from Grambling University and is currently employed as a social worker at Minden Medical Center.
Nicholas is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston where he earned a degree in architecture.
The couple will be at home in Ruston. |
