Neal Johnson of Wisner and Cleather Johnson of Winnsboro announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kawanda R. Johnson to Deonta Ivey. He is the son of Alicia Ivey and the late Benson Ivey.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mcry Boley of Winnsboro and the late Fred Boley Sr. Paternal grandparents are Charity Johnson of Wisner and the late Samuel Johnson Sr.

Kawanda is a graduate of Wisner High School and Southern Univeristy in Baton Rouge. She is currently employed by the Dekalb County School District in Ga.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Janie Bell Crooks and Leola and Clarence Ivey. He is a graduate of Grady High School and is currently employed by Dekalb County School District in Ga.

The wedding is set for half past four o'clock in the evening on May 23, 2010 at the Atrium Norcross in Georgia.
