Patriot seniors prepare for commencement ceremony
 The 2010 graduating class of Franklin Parish High School will hold commencement exercises at Patriot Stadium on Friday, May 21, at 7 p.m.
This is the sixth graduating class of Franklin Parish High School, formerly Winnsboro High School.
The public is invited to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the graduation exercise will be held in the Franklin Parish High School gymnasium, and two tickets will be issued to each graduate.
The valedictorian of this year's graduating class is Erin Young, daughter of Tim and Cathy Young. Salutatorian is Kortnie Kelley, daughter of Richard and Donna Kelley.

Chelsey Lane Campbell, President of the Class of 2010, will present the class gift. Erin Young's valedictory speech is entitled "Friends of Our Future," and Kortnie Kelley salutatory speech is entitled "Farewell to Old Friends." These titles were taken from the class motto by Eleanor Roosevelt: "Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart." |
