Parish Relay for Life set for Saturday
The Franklin Parish Relay for Life will be held in downtown Winnsboro in the parking lot behind the Princess Theatre on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 6 to 10 p.m.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held at First United Pentecostal Church Family Life Center on Loop Road.
Survivor registration will be held from 5:15-5:45 p.m. There will be games and activities for children, food, raffles, entertainment and much more.
Luminarias for Relay for Life are now available for sale. You may purchase a luminaria in honor or memory of a friend, family member or loved one for $10 each. The Luminaria Ceremony will be held at 9 p.m. Luminarias can be purchased by contacting Susan Wall at Reliable Finance, 404 Prairie St. in Winnsboro, 435-0004.
