Baseball playoff brackets released
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has released the baseball playoff brackets for Class C through Class 4A.
Delhi Charter School will be at home Saturday afternoon while the Franklin Parish Patriots were left out of the Class 4A bracket.
The Patriots were on the bubble going into the final weeks of the season. Some projections had FPHS going as high as No. 29 while the top 32 teams in each classification get into the playoffs.
After a six-game losing streak to end the regular season, the Patriots have to watch from the sidelines.
Delhi Charter drew the No. 9 seed in the Class 1A bracket and will host No. 24 Logansport this Saturday.
Mangham will be hosting a first round game in Class 2A. The Dragons will host No. 17 DeQuincy this weekend.
The second round would be played on Wednesday evening for all teams |
