Mangham High defeated Farmerville 11-0 Thursday to set up a contest against Sterlington Monday for the District 2-2A championship.

The Dragons improved to 2-2 in the district.

Sterlington is 3-1 in the district, having split with the Dragons in two games.

Jacob Mooney got the shutout win against Farmerville, while Dale Futch and Jacob Duncan both homered.

In a non-district game, Mangham beat LaSalle 7-3 Saturday.

Jared Dye got the win.

Alex Smart and Mooney both homered.

Mangham is rated No. 10 in the latest Class 2A power ratings.

"We just need to take care of business," said Mangham coach Scott Wilcher. "We played pretty well against Farmerville and LaSalle. We're sitting in good shape."

Mangham's game with Oak Hill has been moved to next week because of testing.
