Fundraiser set for Wisner recreation hall

A non-profit organziation in Wisner has set a fundraiser for for March 20 beginning at 10 a.m. at the old Wisner High gymnasium.

All proceeds raised from this event will be used for refurbishing the Wisner High School building, home economics and football field, which are to be used for recreation in the future.

The event will feature music provided by various local artists in open mic performances.
Catfish plates are available throughout the day for $5 per plate.

A special gospel concert is scheduled for 6 p.m. until. There will be a $5 cover charge per person for the concert. Children 10 years and under will be admitted free accompanied by an adult.
Groups set to perform are the Sanctuary Quartet of Delhi; Brothers in Christ of Monroe; Mark Leland, Nashville recording artist and many others.

These groups and individuals are donating their time and talents to help the Wisner community open a center for recreational activities.
Any additional donations are appreciated.
