FA Cougars defeat Huntington

Franklin Academy defeated Huntington School 21-7 Thursday before falling to Tensas 20-12 on Friday.

"We hit the ball well both games," said Franklin coach Chris Sullivan. "We were going to pitch Caleb (Kratzler) against Tensas, but he had the stomach flu and we had to go with an eighth-grader. But we're going to have our good days and bad days. We're young, but we're going to be competitive. We're seeing the ball better and our defense continues to be good."

Franklin was scheduled to play at River Oaks Monday and host Prairie View today.

The Cougars are headed to Tallulah Thursday and visit Prairie View on Saturday.
