Brown-Woods engagement
 Johnny Neal Jr. and Gussie Brown of Winnsboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Brown, to Kedric Jamar Woods of Lafayette. He is the son of Sherril and Robert Woods Jr. of Alexandria.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Neomia Thompson Brown and the late Alfred Brown Sr. of Winnsboro. She is the paternal granddaughter of Della Neal and the late Johnny Neal Sr. of Rio Alto, Calif.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Olla West and the late Fredie West Sr. of Alexandria. He is the paternal grandson of the late Lucille and Robert Woods Sr. of Chicago, Ill.
Kimberly is a graduate of Crowville High School and is currently employed with Schumacher Group in Lafayette.
Kedric is a graduate of Alexandria Senior High School and Northwestern Sate University. He is currently employed at Acadiana Lanes in Lafayette.
The wedding is set for three o'clock in the afternoon on February 27, 2010, at River of Life Church. Rev. James Lee will officiate the ceremony.
