Franklin Parish Black Achievers are currently planning their Sixth Annual Black History Extravaganza parade. The theme for this year's parade is "Celebrating a Decade of Achievements."

The parade will be held on Feb. 20 along the usual parade route, beginning at 9 a.m. The day promises to be a fun-filled celebration of live entertainment, food, and arts and crafts booths at Westside Park until 4 p.m.
