Elizabeth and Gary Killingsworth of Tallulah announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mari-Kate Killingsworth to James Ryan Walker of Wisner. He is the son of Dottie and Keith Walker of Wisner.

Maternal grandparents of the bride-elect are Cleo Carroll and the late George Carroll Sr. of Gilbert. Paternal grandparents are Ada Killingsworth and the late Lee Edward Killingsworth of Tallulah.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Judy and Leo Lively and Douglas Beach. He is the paternal grandson of Shirley and Eugene Walker.

Mari-Kate is a graduate of Franklin Parish High School and Louisiana Technical College. She is currently employed as a nurse at Franklin Medical Center.

James is a graduate of Franklin Parish High School and Louisiana Technical College. He is currently employed as a pipe welder for B.E.& K.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at four o'clock in the afternoon, December 5, 2009, at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Wisner. Mickey Gallup will perform the ceremony.

Friends and family of the couple are invited to attend through this medium.
