'Charlie Brown' closes, DVDs for sale

The Princess Youth Players ended the run of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" with packed houses each night. The production was presented November 5 and 6 by the Youth Junior Varsity Group and on Nov. 12, 13 and 14 by the Youth Varsity Group.

Princess Theatre executive director Gene Thompson said it was one of the best shows at the theatre. "We are so very proud of our young troupe", Thompson said. "They were absolutely outstanding." Thompson went to say that the future of the Princess has never looked brighter as far as talent goes. "Mary Bess Wiggers, the director of the play, did an amazing job getting the kids prepared for the show."

Cast of the Junior Varsity show were Baylor Cobb, Bruce Cordill, Keegan Price, Ally Roberts, Mary Elizabeth Clark, Annabeth Raley, Camryn Price, Emme Cate Blackwell, Madison Cardin, Macy Gilmore, Zoe Foster, Laurali Walters, Nico Broussard, Gabe Scriber, BlytheAnne Wright, Ally Grayson, Colton Jordan, and Jayson Southern. The Varsity show cast consisted of Allen Michael Emfinger, Dakota Stephens, Cole Linder, Sarah Head, Hannah Cobb, Meg Stephens, Kylie Hill, Casey Netherland, RaeAnne Guimbellot, Hailey Knox, Amanda Rae Kincaid, Anna Grace Ellerbe, Hunter Johnston, Hayden Bumgarden, Heidi Anderson, Natalie Anderson, and Kelsey Bullard.

Musical director for the shows was Jan Smith while Allena Wiggers was choreographer. Nathan Roberts videoed both shows and the DVDs are for sale. You can place your order by calling the Princess Theatre at 318-435-6299 or by email at princesstheatre@bellsouth.net
