Cotton Classic held at FA

Franklin Academy's boys split a pair of games at the Cotton Classic last week.

The Cougars lost to Tallulah before defeating Union in the final game of the tournament.

"We looked real good," said Franklin Academy boys coach Tommy Kimbrough. "We've only got seven kids, but I would rather have these seven because they play hard all the time and give everything they have every time they hit the floor. They are winners no matter what happens on the court."

Franklin's girls dropped its games to Tensas and Tallulah.

Franklin hosts Tallulah today (Tuesday) in four games.
