The Franklin Parish 21st Century Community Learning Centers Afterschool Program will hold an Open House for parents and the entire community, at all sites, Thursday, October 22, 2009.

The Open House will be held during the program's regularly scheduled hours. Community leaders, families, and parents are encouraged to join the program to observe their children and participate with the children in the ongoing activities. We want to communicate to all in the community the valuable service that is being provided for our children and working parents.

Children are provided a safe, nurturing environment while receiving academic instruction and instruction in cultural/recreational activities such as art, jewelry making, golf, no-bake cooking and board games.

Sites and times are as follows:
Baskin: 3:00-5:00PM , Crowville: 3:30-5:30 PM , Fort Necessity: 3:15-5:15PM , Gilbert: 3:15-5:15 PM , and Winnsboro Elementary: 3:30-5:30 PM.

A reminder that the second session will begin on Monday, September 26, 2009. Register at the school site.
