Mr. and Mrs. John Craton of Crowley announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Margaret Leigh Craton to Hunter Kevin McKay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin B. McKay of Mangham.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Vivian Thibodeaux of Church Point and the late Mr. Sweeney Thibodeaux and the late Mr. and Mrs. James M. Craton.

Maggie is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Acadia Parish. She earned her bachelor of science degree in professional land and resource management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Maggie is currently employed by Barousse and Craton Law Firm of Crowley and the owner of Mac Title Company.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Edith Greer of Rayville and the late Mr. Claude Greer. He is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bois McKay of Mangham.

Hunter is a 2001 graduate of Mangham High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he earned his bachelor of science degree in construction management. He is currently employed by Rudick Company, Inc., of Lafayette as project manager.

The wedding is set for three o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Springs Ballroom in Iota.

Family and friends of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
