Martin-Scott engagement
Lisa Joy Martin of Watauga, Texas and Kenneth Lynn Martin of North Lima, Ohio, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lynne Martin to David Adam Scott of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Winnsboro. He is the son of Kay and Aaron Scott of Winnsboro.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Albert Marinelli and the late Levia Marinelli of Boardman, Ohio. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Kenneth Leroy and Nancy Ruth Martin of Boardman, Ohio.
The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of the late Elmer E. and Louise Freeman of Winnsboro. He is the paternal grandson of the late Lovie A. and Onice Scott of Winnsboro.
Jessica attended Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz where she was an active member of the Make a Wish Foundation, Arizona Chapter. She is currently employed as district office coordinator for a retirement firm in Phoenix.
David is a graduate of Winnsboro High School and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration. He is member of Gamma Beta Phi professional fraternity and a founding member of Tech's MBA Society. He is currently employed as a commercial banker for J.P. Morgan Chase in Phoenix.
The wedding is set for four o'clock in the afternoon on October 3, 2009 at The Briars antebellum mansion in Natchez, Miss. Rev. John Albright, pastor of Winnsboro First Presbyterian Church will officiate the ceremony. |
