Marilyn and Freeman Addison of Winnsboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Eumeka Hoard to Jerrell Gipson, son of Trudy Gardner of Baton Rouge and the late Issac "Leroy" Coleman of Winnsboro.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Virginia "Junior" McFarland and L.Z. "Joanne" Hoard. She is the paternal granddaughter of Ellen Addison Fountain and the late Sammie Addison.

Eumeka is a graduate of Winnsboro High School and is currently attending Delta Community College.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of the late Troy and Blanche Gipson. He is the paternal grandson of the late Alfred and Betty Coleman.

Jerrell attended Ouachita High School and is currently employed by Turner Industries.
The wedding is set for five o'clock in the evening on September 26, 2009 at the Rayville Civic Center. Minister Bakari Beckwith will perform the ceremony.
