The Princess Theatre will present the seventh of its series events on Saturday, September 26. The popular "Pops Concert" will be held at 6:00 pm at the home of Gary and Kay Huff.

This year's event will feature the popular big band sounds of The St Joe Jazzers."We are really excited about having The Jazzers with us this year", said Gene Thompson, the director of the Princess. "This event is always a big hit and this year should be no exception" said Thompson. "As an added bonus we will be featuring many local vocalists singing selected numbers with The Jazzers." Thompson added that the theme for this year is the big band era. "We encourage everyone to get a group together, reserve a table and decorate it. It's always fun to see how the tables turn out." Admission to the Pops is by series membership or $25 per ticket for non-members. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Princess Theatre ticket office. Tables are available upon request but are limited to first come, first served. For more information contact the Princess at 318-435-6299 or at "mailto: princesstheatre@bellsouth.net"

Programs of Princess Theatre, Inc. are supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, and the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council. Local sponsorship for the Pops Concert is Progressive Bank of Winnsboro.
