Campbell-Walker wedding
Angel Marie Campbell and Dane Walker exchanged marriage vows during an evening ceremony at Fort Necessity Baptist Church on July 3, 2009. Minister Rex Barker performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ricky Campbell Sr. of Fort Necessity and Rose Robbins of Crowville. The groom is the son of Jeff Walker Jr. and Janie Knight of Sicily Island.
The sanctuary of the church was decorated with ten foot white Grecian columns and Boston ferns. Fresh floral arrangements of pink and white daisies completed the altar area.
Nuptial music for the ceremony included "The Maker," "No," and "Got What It Is."
At the chiming of the hour, the bride entered the sanctuary of the church on the arm of her father in a white A-line gown accented with a pink sash at the waist and trumpet skirt. She wore a should-length veil of sheer illusion and carried a bouquet of pink Gerber daisies and light pink roses.
Ashtin Walker of Sicily Island and Taylor McManus served the bride as her maids of honor. Each attendant wore a brown and pink polka-dotted pillow case-style dress with matching brown flip flops and carried a single pink rose.
Cayla Walker of Wisner served as the matron of honor. She wore a dress like that of the maids of honor and carried a single pink rose.
Marlee Nelson of Sicily Island served as flower girl. She wore a pink and brown polka-dotted dress with matching brown flip flops.
Kyler Walker of Wisner served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Walker of Sicily Island, Zac Clayton of Clayton.
Johnathon Campbell of Winnsboro served as usher.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held for the couple in the fellowship hall of the church. The bride's cake was a square two-tiered white confection decorated with pink daisies and topped with a brown monogrammed "W." The groom's cake featured an outdoors theme with deer, ducks and fish.
Val Campbell and Rhonda Campbell of Winnsboro, Aislinn Walker of Sicily Island and Renatta Walker of Clayton served as hostesses at the reception.
After a honeymoon trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple is at home in Wisner. |
