Willsher-Sanford engagement
 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harry Willsher of Monroe are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Lydell, to Mr. Jimmy Samuel Sanford Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Samuel Sanford Sr. of Monroe.
Alison is the grand-daughter of Mrs. Lydell Wilson Breard and the late Mr. Herbert Lee Breard Jr. and Mrs. Elizabeth Willsher and the late Mr. Harry John Willsher all of Monroe, LA.
Jim is the grandson of the late Mr. Jimmy E. Sanford of Monroe and John and Elizabeth Tharp of Farmerville and Mrs. Trilby Stevens and the late Mr. Alton B. Stevens of Gilbert.
Alison is a graduate of St. Frederick High School and Louisiana Tech University where she received a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion and Texas Women's University where she received a M.S. degree in Physical Therapy. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Women's University. She is employed by Therapy Solutions of LA. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
Jim is a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and Bossier Parish Community College where he received an A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy. He is employed by St. Francis Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.
The couple will marry at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe. |
