Modelle Wollerson Braswell
Funeral services for Modelle Wollerson Braswell, 83, of Winnsboro, were held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at Gill Chapel with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Tony Wilmoth officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Modelle was born to the union of her parents Henry and Lilia Harrold Mrs. Braswell was born on July 15, 1926 in Winnsboro, and passed from this life Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Purvis Braswell; three brothers: Manuel, Tilman, and Jake Wollerson; two sisters: Ella Mae Brownell and Eva Dale Roberts.
She is survived by three daughters: Susan B. Shurden and husband Michael of Greenwood, SC; Sandra B. Jackson and husband Sherman of Baskin; and Marla McKenzie and husband Rusty of Winnsboro; two step-daughters: Charlotte Wallace and husband Bob of Lexington, Miss., and Martha Milliet and husband Robert of Florence, Miss.; one sister: Etta Coupples of Shreveport; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Myrtle E. Johns
Graveside services for Myrtle E. Johns, age 101, of Tallulah, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Coax Cemetery near Baskin, with Rev. Richard Henderson and Dr. E. L. Wright officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Survivors include: three daughters: Ethel Winborne of Winnsboro; Betty Greer Smith of Natchez; Virginia Carney of Tallulah; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loyal F. Parrott Jr.
Memorial services for Loyal F. Parrott Jr., age 85, of Fort Necessity were held Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009 at Fort Necessity Baptist Church in Fort Necessity, with Rev. Hershel Clanton officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Parrott was a retired millwright and farmer. He passed away on August 14, 2009.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Minna Faye Parrott; three daughters: Judy McKee and husband, Wayne of Start; Marilyn Wilson and husband Gene of Chase; Debbie Christian and husband James of Bernice; son: Richmond Parrott and wife Leah of Yerington, Nev.; eight grandchildren: Michael, Misty, and Cody Wilson; Chad, Chuck, Mike and Emily Stansbury, and Julie Christian; nine great-grandchildren.

Clifton Ray RussellGraveside services for Clifton Ray Russell, age 71, of Liddieville, were held Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville with Bro. John Solloway officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Russell was a retired electrical lineman and passed away on August 15, 2009. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Russell.
Survivors include his wife: Agnes Wallace Russell; mother: Lorrene Wallace; son: Danny Russell and wife Janet; great granddaughter: Jazmyne Gilmore.
