Franklin Opry set for Saturday
The August edition of the Franklin Opry will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Princess Theatre in historic downtown Winnsboro.
Special guests for this month's edition will include Kayla Sims of Crossett, Ark., Raymond Welborn of Texarkana, Ricky Brown of Arcadia and Sarah Wagoner of West Monroe.
The family oriented event will also feature house band, Gene King and the Gene King Band, along with K104 radio personality Carl Bamburg.
Sponsors for the August Opry will be Haring Catfish, Mary Anna Nursing Home, Sullivan's Feed and Western Wear and Bobby's Family Restaurant.
