NLU Alumni meet set Aug. 13
Northeast Louisiana University Alumni will be meeting for a dutch treat seafood buffet at Brown's Landing in Winnsboro on Thursday, Aug. 13 beginning at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m.
All alumni, students, prospective students and friends are invited to have fun, visit with other alumni and enjoy a delicious meal.
There will be a silent auction to help fund the scholarship from the Franklin Parish Alumni. The auction will begin at 6 p.m. and will include such items as a gourmet shrimp supper, basket of Taste of Franklin, a guided hunting trip, shiitake mushrooms and many more.
