Kid's Rodeo this weekend, July 24 & 25
The Deep South Kid's Rodeo will be held this weekend, Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.
All youth participants are asked to register for rodeo events at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Friday night, young riders in all age groups will compete in barrels, poles and speed. A registration fee of $10 will be charged for each event.
On Saturday night, the ever-popular muttin' bustin' event for ages 0-6 years will begin at 7 p.m. Other events include calf-riding, junior steer riding and team roping.
Admission to the Kid's Rodeo will be $2; all children 18 years and under get in free.
The annual parade will kick-off the regular rodeo season on Thursday, July 30.
Events for the 52nd Annual Deep South PRCA Rodeo will be held July 30-Aug. 1, beginning at 8 p.m. nightly.
Tickets for the adult rodeo can be purchased in advance at Sullivan's Feed and West Wear and Dennis Crain Dodge in Winnsboro. Adult tickets are $9 each and $5 for children 12 years or older. |
