Karen and Mike Calhoun of Winnsboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan Leann Calhoun to Daniel Heath McMurray of Chase, son of Cissy and Danny McMurray.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Katherine and Billy Ritchie of Winnsboro. Paternal grandparents are Faye and J.M. Calhoun of Wisner.

The prospective groom is the maternal grandson of Linda Perry and the late Hubert Dempsey of Winnsboro. Paternal grandparents are Doris and Bob McMurray of Chase.

Megan is a 2005 graduate of Franklin Academy and she attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is currently employed as assistant dance instructor with Miss Tommie's School of Dance.

Daniel attended Winnsboro High School and Louisiana Technical College. He is currently employed by Nabors Drilling.

The wedding will take place at seven o'clock in the evening on June 27, 2009 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Calhoun, grandparents of the bride. Minister Harry Boyd will officiate the ceremony

Friends and family of the couple are invited to attend through this medium.
