Ward Crop beats DCDC, 11-10 Friday

Big Johns shut down a last inning rally by Home Hardware to take a 11-10 win.
Three winning players, Trey Fife, Trey Middleton and Steven Dalton, had three hits each with Sam Stewart bringing in three RBIs.
The game was tied 8-all at the start of the final inning.
Five players, Carter Banks, Logon Tullos, Joe Michael Price, John Riley Graham and Alex Ezell, had three hits each for Home Hardware.
9 -10 year old boys
Winnsboro Sports used a five-run fifth inning and shut down a Wards Crop Consulting rally to take a 15-13 win with starting pitcher Landon Chunn aiding his cause with a home run.
Chris Sikes had three hits for the winners, including two triples.
Morgan Lee led the Consultants with two of the team's five hits.
Ward's Crop Consultants rallied in the final inning for five runs and a 11-10 win over Dennis Crain Dodge.
Johnathan Hudson, one of three pitchers used by Ward's, had a homer while both Elijah Ward, another pitcher in the game, and Blaise Cureington each had a triple.
Joseph Wolleson and Chase Morrison combined on the loss on the mound.
Winnsboro Sports built an early lead to outman Cropland 11-1.
Landon Chunn and Heath Hackney combined for the win with Cropland sending three players to the mound.
Madison Cockerham's inside the park homer and hits by Hackney and Allen added to the thrill of Chunn's three innings of no hit pitching. |
